Sprouts
Like or loath
love them steamed with butter mmmmmm
I love sprouts - always have.
lurve them
Love em, delicious with butter but they have to have 'bite' and not be mushy
Love 'em....either raw when I'm sat preparing them on christmas eve for the impending hoard or boiled so they're nicely soft.
Love em, but they gotta be soft and covered in the xmas gravy.
With chestnuts or....
frried in a light tempura batter---u gotta try that u really have.
Gorgeous - but they MUST be cooked just to the point of not smelling raw. And served with little bits of smoked bacon fried crispy - stirred through with the bacon fat.
Soggy sprouts (in fact any veg soggy) are inedible.
Got my own coming from the allotment - not many this year - but great hopes for the future. biggrin

This, but instead of boiling them, cooking them up in the frying pan in a little butter, with white wine and chopped shallotts along with the bacon.
Won't eat them any other way.

Yummy yummy
Love them....boiled until soft.
I wouldn't go so far as to say I love them, but I do like them if cooked right, and I can't imagine a traditional turkey roast without them. I will try them fried with shallots and bacon this year though, so thanks for that tip
Sprouts, you can keep them. The only thing to be said for them is they last well in the winter. Its a famin food.
