A cry for help !! ( It's an Avatar thing !! )

Hi all
This may seem really trivial but here goes rolleyes

I have been posting on here for a short while now and have always loved the animated Avatars that people come up with.
However I have never been able to find any for myself. :sad:
So, where do you get them from ??
Or am I in the midst of pure computer genius and you make them yourselves ??
If so I would be very grateful for a link to any site that enables me to have a dabble in the art of the animated Avatar !!

try putting avatars into your search engine are loads of sites out there with them on,so im sure you can find something to suit you.

You need to look for animated gifs, Dan.
I'm sure a while back someone posted about gif animating freeware too, so you could make your own! wink

I have tried many searches and usually end up with Disney avatars rolleyes

Searching for animated Avatars usually yields avatars of animated film dunno

Oh well, I will keep trying lol

and found one site...

But there are loads more....
(now awaits with baited breath for Dan's personalised animated gif! :shock: )

dan, if you want to turn any of your own pictures into avatar friendly size then you can do this at the following website.....

it is a free site and you reduce the size of pictures and the pixel sizes as well.......

Dan - A BIG word of warning though - beware the german (.de) sites - you go through page after page without getting to the gifs, then you hit an auto dialler!!!

No joy yet :banghead:
I have found the animated avatars but can not resize them !! :doh:
Tried all the resizing tools and still no joy !! Sooooo frustrating :censored:
Maybe try tomorrow, fresh start blink
