lol i am still to young to remember twin peaks, honestly, ok i lie i use to sneak down the stairs and peer through the gap on the stairs doors to sneak a peak while my mother watched it, omg what i managed to watch i loved, have put my order into leathered for box set that is coming out soon
Oooh, Art lessons used to be filled with the latest Twin Peaks gossip. It was the only thing that made the lessons bearable. And then I watched the re-runs when I was at Uni in 96/97. I loved it. The spin off book, Laura Palmer's Diary was a bit weird but a must-read for teenage girls of a certain age!
I never watched it, but my peers used to drive me nuts talking about it. maybe it's worth looking out for? you mentioned lost... I'm nearly through the fourth series. All jolly good too. i have five to watch, and will await access to six. lp

I was an ardent "peakie" too, though I agree with the OP that the series lost its way in series two. As well as Sherilyn Fenn, there was Lara Flynn Boyle.:P And as well as the log lady, there was Bob, and the dancing dwarf, and "the owls are not what they seem".
