That is the generalisationthat I am betting that most people are annoyed with, and the "visit a gym and get in shape bit" isn't much better.......
I was going to stay out of this after I advised the Opening poster that it was probably a wise idea that they should "stop digging".... but that was ignored
I am a large guy... I play sport.... doesn't mean I am not fit.......

i carry a few extra stones never mind kilos, does that mean i dont look after myself no!
you have no idea why some people are overweight you are assuming its lack of exercise or not looking after themselves.
way to go making people feel self conscious as if there isnt enough of that about already given the media pressure etc
but media pressure works too ways how many look at these skinny celeb mags to do you get
a person is more than the packaging, the inside is what matters thank fook i am not so shallow that i pass people up cos of the way they look
a physical attraction needs to be there yea but if the mental attraction isnt there doesnt matter how fit, good looking etc it aint gonna happen
meeting people at socials, the way someone posts their personality that comes through is more important than the shell they are carried around in

:thumbup: and how right you are. I have PCOS which makes losing weight difficult (gaining isn't a problem rolleyes

), in the summer of last year I started going to a gym 3 times a week and my body shape changed dramatically to the point that people thought I'd lost stones rather than pounds, I'd lost 20 odd pounds but that was all.
I still exercise now, I'm fitter than most slimmer people. It's all in the mind, you are as fit as you want to be.
