As one or two people on here may know i have had a little accident at work redface yesterday....... I have made a deep cut in one finger resulting in THREE stiches in said finger :upset: which, i have been told to keep dry clean and straight  now i know the GREAT NHS is very busy in any A&E Dept. these days but in the may i say gorgeous nurses rush to get those lovely other people clear out there, in the waiting room and so keep the waiting times down she forgot to tell me how to keep my finger dry, while showering and shaving.
So i was wondering if any one has any tips on how to keep my finger dry, while showering and shaving as i hate to go more than one day without showering, plus i'am begining to stink bolt and i have what looks like 2 days growth on my normal little baby faced chin.
So if any of you have any good tips please do let me know cheers.
Don't put your finger in the water? dunno
Lots of love, hugs and kisses

tut!!
Have you never heard of finger stalls??? Go to the chemist and they will sell you one or more of these delightful items which are like condoms for fingers. They then strap around your wrist so the at the said finger is kept dry in wet conditions.
You could also try shaving with your OTHER hand lol radical I know but achievable with a little willpower and determination.
:P
thanks jags i will go and get some finger stalls this aft as for shaving i can use both hands there :giggle: that was just part of the usual saying ie: the 3 S's :silly: thankyou for your help
rubber glove
plastic bag taped around wrist

"thankyou but i think that might be a little hard under the shower while washing my..........hair."
why not shave your head, :gagged:
sorry  bolt
Um asked the other medic in this house and she talked about 50 different ways depending on what type of dressing you already had. Best options seemed to be latex gloves (chemist), finger stalls (like mini condoms) or some waterproof dressings.
Would offer own advice but I normally only play pre hospital smile I have a friend who used a platic bag over hand and tape (micropore) to good success. Good luck.
Thankyou to all who posted in my little quest cool .
I ended up with a little plastic bag and some tape around my finger in the end.........as i went to 4 local chemists here and NOT ONE had anything to cover it while in the shower rolleyes .
But when i go to the local health centre tomorrow i will ask if they have anything that might help.
Once again thankyou for your help worship ......i still might have been a smellie mollman but for your help :color: .
And thankyou for your good wishes i hope to back to full working order flipa :giggle: in the very near future.
Nip down the local petrol station , by the diesel pump you should find free disposable plastic gloves ! am sure that might help !
