A load of balls, Part V

A while back I suggested a theme for another masquerade ball, but it was a bit too soon after the previous one, so here it is again.

A roleplay. SH Towers is under attack by the evil forces of the underworld. Magical monsters casting spells, breathing fire, torturing, pillaging, that sort of thing. Opposing them, the defenders of the Swingdom leap heroically into combat... a bit like a forum foodfight if you've ever seen one of those, only more destructive. :twisted:
What I was thinking was we each decide whether to be an attacker or a defender and create temporary IDs to assume the role of some kind of magical or mythological being, be it Roman, Greek, Norse, LOTR, whatever or just invent one.
As long as we got roughly equal numbers of goodies and baddies, I think it could be a blast!

If the mods agree, I propose the weekend of 30th April - 1st May as I don't think that clashes with any major munches so there should be a good crowd in.

Whenever's best for the most people, I'm open to suggestions. Doesn't even have to be a weekend, I only suggested that cos that's the way it's always been done, but it doesn't have to be. smile

I think weekends are good - gives yer a chance to dip in and out. I wouldn't be put off because one or two say they can't do it - there'll always be plenty who will. Still, it might be better to steer clear of the Bank Holiday. You'll need a kindly Mod to press the right buttons so that may be the decider.

weekend of the scottish mini munch... lol and the camelions meet... and the herts mini munch... but other that you are clear... biggrin
