To remember the 96 football fans who died 23 years ago at Hillsborough.
I will show my respect to them and to the victims of the RMS Titanic wich hit an iceberg at 11:40pm today 100 years ago.
And those poor souls of the White Star Line who had to write the letters to the victims families .......
Telling them that they owed the money for thier lost empolyees uniforms and for the money to repatriate bodies for home burials, to the heavily pregnant fiance of Jock Hulme (the violist who played until the ship sank to calm the passengers) telling her that he was not an employee but an independant artist paid to perform on the ship and therefore not entitled to compensation but as an independant artist she would still have to pay for his uniform.

Perhaps start another thread for these souls, and leave this one to commemorate those souls lost at Hillsborough

Victims, the families of victims and the victims friends share the pain they suffered and thier long sleep together perhaps it is apt that they share our thoughts together in the same way and with the same remorse and sadness as we remember them and the human incompetance that made them what they are
