Do you have a musical moment you would not have missed for the world, or one you look back on with found memory's?
Here is mine;
Spending a very passionate evening with a gorgeous blonde who loved making love to Delibes' Flower Duet. Have loved that piece of music ever since lol sadly a long time ago now :sad:
If we're talking concerts......this one I recently went to. The audience singing along at the end of the song was brilliant.
At South Dorset Kennel hunt, spent many hours with girl groom doing the same Max, with the accompaniment of this song. Sadly, also too many years ago

In that case, how does this one grab ya?

Mmmmm, thanks Cubes. Guess that one would never have made it as a BA advert!
There is a certain something about that piece of music though.

Yes, it's one of my favs too. :cool:
Sadly, there's one piece of music that has eluded me for many years now. I was seeing a girl who introduced me to it one special night, but I never did get the artist/track name. It's a slow instrumental piece with a rainstorm in the background that gently crescendos into a thunderstorm. It was late '70s - early 80s, around the time Jarre and Santana were at their prime. If anyone knows the one I mean and can point me in the right direction I'd be rather pleased.

Not Riders on the storm by the Doors by any chance? Largely instrumental and conatins rain and thunder.

Fraid not Max, although it is somewhat similar in places. I've never heard it since so my guess is it wasn't ever mainstream. Thanks anyway.
Tell you what, if anyone thinks they know it, please drop me a PM to save taking this excellent thread off track.
('scuse the pun! :lol2smile
Being a pro guitarist, guitar music has often been playing quietly in the background when I've made love. Some of the slower to medium pace Etudes by Sor are particularly nice for those warm cuddly moments.
