A suggestion...

HIyas, don't know where to put this but would anyone consider adding BLOGS onto the site??
I dont know how many people would use them, or even if people would be interested but it would be a great way to introduce yourself properly and really let people see who you are...
I have a blog on another forum, but its a family site and so wouldn't be anything like the blog I would post here! But I do find its a great way to browse through members and see who is really interactive with the site and who they are as people...
Just wondering what anyone thinks??
I've seen posts about blogs, but as far as I can tell never one suggesting linking them in with SH...

Asfar as I'm aware there is no reason why you can't put a link to your blog in your signature, in all honesty I was going to do one myself but it wouldn't make very good reading 8 am logged on to net........................3 am logged of and went to bed confused

well, I could happily link to my current blog, but to be honest that blog wouldn't show the me (or us LOL, I forget him I'll get clobbered!) that I would want to show on here... and that is a person I CANNOT show on a family based site...
hmmmm...
anyone recommend a hosting site maybe where it would be possible so we could link in to that?

Its like your own bit of webspace that you can upload pictures to, have a diary, write about yourself... things like that

Blog =weblog and online diary of sorts where you can post about everyday events in your life. smile

Think you will find them quite simple to use, they normally are but if anyone wanted some help then we wouldn't mind if we get first perve :lol: :lol: :lol:

the only problem i had with creating a blog was that the one i use to use was attached to another swinging website and that upset a mod or two.... but that was me working without thinking it thru... :small-print: smile

so just transferred it all to a "neutral" blog site (something like blogspot so to speak)..... not had any problems since :thumbup: :thumbup:
I get really nice comments about mine from time to time..... It made me smile when someone I didn't know came up to me at the bristol munch and said really nice things about a piece I had written about autism
so nothing to stop you setting one up.... i go thru people as it is brilliant way of finding out about people....
