Anyone ever looked at an ad in their locality (or from somewhere they have previously lived) and thought "I recognise that wallpaper"?
Just curious

No, but conversely I did once have a bedroom with some fairly unpleasant anaglypta wallpaper* which contained a swirly bit which looked just like a guy sucking himself off.
Initially I took it as a good omen, but alas it was a false dawn.

*In my defense it was a student house. Interior design is not your priority when you are living of 20p packets of chinese noodles.

I think you can pay as much as 34p for a packet of noodles (not those supanoodles), but they taste just as crap as the cheap and cheerfull variety - probably best to make your own flavouring anyway.

At least you could prepare them in a kettle when your cooker wasn't working due to the damp having rotted the wiring - happy days
