Ok, i've just clicked on 2 threads in about as many minutes, and theyre both by some plonker making a pathetic moaning post about the chatroom, the forum, the ads, or the mods. (i've seen a few in the last couple of days as well).
So i was wondering.... is it a bunch of grumpy immature adults?? Or is it a bunch of stupid immature kids who cant find anything better to do with their summer holidays??
Cos i tell you something, in an earlier thread, a few people had said the atmosphere round here had dropped a few hundred degrees, and i'm really starting to agree with them!!! (hence my on and off appearences!!) Half the posts on this forum recently have been from irritating people making bulls**t and irrelevant points!!!! (If only we could mention names).
I know the mods do their jobs, and do them WELL, but pricks like this seem to take the enjoyment out of it!!!!!!!

Been following the posts you have mention but intentionally not got involved, as a relitive newbie i feel there are people with far more experience on the forum who would 'deal' with it.

Well as one who has left and come back this place goes in waves. So do the old feelings about it, after a get your head together session, it all comes into focus. Stuff that really got to me when I was going, didn't matter on my return.
I see the messages in a more balanced way now, even the wingers can be glanced over, they don't get the blood boiling anymore. So through the idiots, keep an eye out for the cream, those like yourselves. There are still some good, no great, threads out there to lift your day...

After being here for a while I have noticed that the place does ebb and flow and couple that with the fact that my moods do much the same, then there will be times when the ebbs come together, but then a thread pops up that I find interesting or fun and away we go again. The diversity of personalities here will inevitably mean that different threads and posts will elicit different responses from us in a 'one mans meat is another mans poison' type of way. For me, the banal and strange is as rewarding as the informative yet I generally choose just to respond to the silly, because thats what I enjoy........oh bugger I just aint no good at these serious responses but I still reckon there's good fun to be had here alongside good debate and serious advice and if the fact that I talk bollox tm tune 2004 does ever bug any of you then drop me a P.M. cos I sure as hell aint doing it deliberately........thats bugging you....the bollox is deliberate.

I guess I cherry pick. I look through and see what titles interest me. If I notice that it's someone I have had previous experience off and don't particularly like (must be said, doesn't happen very often on here, but I can think of other sites that have people I don't really get on with) then I tend to ignore their postings.
Must admit that those who are regulars and know how the site works are great, those that come in and ask a question or to say hello I'll reply to, but the moaners and the idiots really get on my pecks. I don't suffer fools gladly in real life, so I don't see why I should be any different with them in forums.

No we are alright easy, I posted a report from our shelter earlier to add more things to the list after eating some frosties but I'm still miffed that my plastic croc is missin from the packet

I've thought precisely the same thing in the past week and have PMed several people regarding this. Schools out, eh!
I know my posts can be a bit to serious sometimes and that's not what people always want. I enjoy a good essay and a reading a well thought out post such as that written by Judy TV for example. I love the humour equally and have sat here and laughed out loud on many an occassion.
There's something here for everyone ranging from important topical issues to complete lunacy! I'd just like to say what a bloody brilliant forum! Why not enjoy it all? I know I do!

I know certain people or certain threads may well be just a load of bollox,and there is a few pricks out there,but unfortunately that'll happen anywhere at any time,the best way is to ignore em which i do find difficult at times.
At the end of the day you can't have everyone posting brilliant stuff all the time so as has already been said it will ebb and flow,just enjoy the good and ignore the bad(well try to)
