), but soon changed it becuase in SH no-one can be shy. So I have spent a year here - okay so I went away a bit over the summer when I was very busy - but you were all with me in my thoughts - much more than you know!
All of you on SH became a kind of virtual family for me. When I wasn't sure about something I asked you - and you responded in all your different ways - and I thak you for that! In the year that has passed I have grown a lot. The high flying job went and I went back to being a poor student. You supported me on ways you cannot imagine!
I acknowledged my sexuality and even won over a few "straight" women on the way :P
. But most of all I made some really good, lasting friendships that I cherish to this day!! Nothing will change the way I feel about those people - whether they remain "virtual" or "real" - they are all real to me! So thank you all for giving me a home in the virtual world. Thank you Mark for providing the means for this, and thank you to those who became friends I will never forget!!!
