Do any of you black fellas have blue eyes? ( if so we would love to hear from you!)
I know most will have brown eyes but are there any blue ones? Are we on a quest for the impossible?

Is there some kind of myth associated with blue-eyed black men? Or are you just being awkward? Mission impossible?
Don't most men have their eyes shut, most of the time?
(except when driving or perving at the women in tight fitting summer t shirts that is)
Errrrrrrr isn't this effectively an ad ? rolleyes
wasn't meant to be an ad,
It just came up in conversation and no my wife didn't say that about swinging!
I think the answer is that perhaps I am just being dumb.
Never Mind!
EYE EYE FUSSY AD !!!
Anyway, youre here now -
Hi!
Whilst I think, how about Al Jolson - would he count?
This should be an easy one to solve:
Take:
1. one black guy, with standard issue brown eyes
and
2. one set of blue contact lenses.
Apply 2 to 1, et voila!
There is a way this could happen naturally - if two mixed race people, who both had one blue-eyed parent, had kids, there would be a chance their offspring could have blue eyes.
hey thats great i like that
you can also buy them in argos
they are about pr
varna xxxx
....I'm now boz-eyed!!
:silly:
Ps..if yr being serious I don't know and have never seen any black folks with blue eyes..although I have seen some blue eyed mixed race people.
yeah mixed race don't count tho really cause ur thinning out the bloody line or whatever u want to call it lol i have a mixed race cousin with fair hair
i thought this was a joke before so i thought i had better leave it
to be honest my cousin has green eyes.....so i can't see why there cannot be some blue eyed people
sean xxxxxx
sean it can be possible.....
i would go through the details of genes and so forth but cant be bothered .....
i have met a family where the whole family is white-eurpean amd one member is afro-carabeian. They all have the same mother and same farther.
strange i know but it can happen.....

This is down to mutation of genes over more than one generation, although at some point there would need to have been an afro-carribean person's blood lines mixing in with the so called white european.
It is not possible to have a black child born to a white family if they have not got at least one member of their ancestry who was from another creed.
Genetic mutations can occur over several generations later, so the family you know of will have at least one black ancestor on either the mother or father's side or possibly even on both. This could be from at least three generations ago, although probably less than that.
Mixed race people are not a new thing. It's been going on since we walked upright and will continue to do so.

I think it's more like a throwback than mutation - where recessive alleles become dominant because some of the other alleles in the DNA are even more recessive.

Sorry, couldn't help it - the science had to come out smile it might not be correct though, I may have remembered the bits incorrectly.
PS - it's a dictionary (that was the teacher coming out lol )
