Accept it, it's ultimately a waste of time,... *For guys (for example), in my position at least, (it could be VERY different for some of the couples here and a few of the single lasses),... but to ME,... there are FAR too many guys, (yes,.. I know; I'm one of them),.. and too few good looking couples/single females. *To be perfectly honest,..
Ultimately, you have to admit, this isn't worth the effortfor guys in my position,.....
I'm in touch with one couple from here, which is fantastic news; so maybe what I wanted out of, I've already found, COOL biggrin

Plus the fact that this site is free, so not complaining about that. It's a refreshing change to the sites that charge an arm and a leg to be a member of a club of which you don't even know how many female/couple members they have; you COULD unwittingly pay a small fortune to be a member of a club that you later discover, (to your horror and disgust),. to be 95% males!!!AARRGGGHHHH!! "Where're all the ladies??!!!" lol

*I doubt ladies joining would complain too much though,.. lol

Couples looking for guys here can have an absolute field day!,.. same goes for single lasses,.. all the totty for them! biggrin

It'll always be difficult for single guys to get laid, especially if going out on the town is a problem, I HATE going out to clubs, pubs, bars etc,.. it's just sooo horrible,.. besides; I'm socially inept in those environments. So going out to pull isn't an option for me, (plus I can't afford it).
Accept it, it's ultimately a waste of time,... (for guys like me at least),..

Hmmm, well, I take your point absolutely, and as you know much has been said about this in previous threads. It's all been said before I know, but it's the same all over, on web sites, in clubs, and in "regular" pubs/clubs as well, there are many more blokes on the pull than there are women or couples. I guess the only way for more of you guys to be satified is if either the few women at are up for it take on more of you ( :shock: :shock: :shock: ) - but as that is not generally an option (girls sleep too wink

), the other way is to encourage more women/couples looking for guys to participate (either on these sorts of site or at clubs), but as they say, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink wink

Probably the best way to ensure a shag I guess would be to murder all the competition and then you could have all of us girls to yourself wink

There are more women than men in this country.
There are more couples than single men in the country. (probably!)
So why are there sooooooooo many more men than women or couples in here?
Single men are the dominant group in this, and other forums, and as the dominant group have the most impact on the environment the forum operates in. And it is the environment which encourages people to stay or go.

True, but do not think that we feel like kiddies in a sweetshop, where we fancy everything on offer. It is not easy in here for couples, our issues may be different, but are just as challenging.
There are not enough couples or women to change this - it is something that single men have control over - and single men are the ones who can do something about it.
In short, don't piss on my head and try and tell me it is raining.

We are not in here to get laid, strangely enough, we are quite capable of having great sex without outside assistance, and do so very frequently.
Well, another two things
Think about this 3, What happens to swingers if their private lives become public?
Couples - how are they portrayed in the press? Moral enemies of society.
Single Women - how are they portrayed in the press? Painted Jezebels.
Single Men - how are they portrayed in the press? They don't even make it into the press. The most they risk is mild embarassment when the whole pub stands up to give them a round of applause, and a hangover from all the pints bought for them.
Perhaps that really explains why there are so many more single blokes. They are not the ones taking the risks.
Bit of empathy with the situation of others would not go amiss.

I'd just like to ad my tuppence into the hat...
There are more single male swingers than single women swingers because an awful lot of those guys would be better suited to a conventional dating agency.... or maybe even just a prostitute.
They want sex, a bit of friendship perhaps, but on the whole they can't get their heads around the 'swinging concept' - i.e. having a good laugh with your mates and not feeling bad about bonking them. wink

Some girls do it because they absolutely love sex. Some girls do it because they love screwing strangers (moi, perhaps?). But on the whole if it's not done with a modicom of good nature and fun it becomes sleezy and not fun and you may as well do it for money. Rarely do girls want simply to get 'laid'... but this seems to be the major factor for an awful lot
of guys.
But, like I say... it's just my two penneth.

Since I joined this site, and posted a couple of adverts (14040 and 14041 for the curious amongst you - they're identical, but in different categories...) I have had 3 replies. Now this is not one of those threads that says "xxx views and only x replies" - that really gets on my goat (if you'll pardon that expression from a Yorkshireman!) - maybe they ought to wonder why so many people are viewing, but none replying.... rolleyes

The three replies I have had, I have replied in turn to all of them - but two of them chose to not take it any further. That is their perogative, and I have no complaints. The third reply was from a couple, and we are in the process of exchanging emails - just ordinary, run of the mill emails - no (well, hardly any) sex mentioned - it's the "getting to know you" phase. It may or may not end up with us meeting - I don't know. Obviously, I am hopeful.
The point I am making in my usual rambling, disjointed style is that ; yes, the site is set up (and being a computer programmer myself, I have a faint idea about how much time and work Mark must put into the site - so here's a huge THANX for all the hard work... biggrin

) for people to meet up and have fun with each other - but it is also a community of a sort - one that I'm proud to be part of - I get just as much enjoyment from reading the threads in the forums (and sometimes laughing out loud) as I do from reading the adverts (and again, sometimes laughing out loud - then I submit my own pictures, and everything calms down again...)
I think I've made some sort of point here, and the fact that my cat is trying to get my attention by walking on the keyboard probably tells me that it's time for me to end here...
Just enjoy it - it's value for money!!

That's exactly the spirit. At the end of the day, if you aren't getting any pleasure out of anything, pack it in and become a Coronation Street extra.
There are times when I can't wait to get home to see the latest antics of Blue, Jags, Kitkat (what ever happened to Overthehill???) and I can't help from joining in myself. Not necessarily always the case. This "single" bloke here is married doing things he wouldn't want his wife knowing about redface

(I never hide the fact I am married in any correspondence) - and I am willing to bet I am not the only married one.
Our risk is for our partner/wife finding out what we are REALLY doing at night, whereas your partners are with you (mostly anyway!)
Obviously the risk is 'thru choice - but just wanted to comment that's all. If the police take note of our number plates and post a warning letter to your house you will just laugh - I will just die :shock:
