where does the word "old" or "mature" start :shock:
Is 40 old or mature is 50 past it and give it up.
Not in my book wink

I see the more mature ( and I am one )as experienced down to earth laid back fun loving ( well the ones I have met from here have been ) :wink: :wink:
I have spotted a few times a few ads that say mature at 40, you are still young at that age and certainly not mature in age or looks.
Give me a meet with a more mature older couple any time .

i would class 40 as mature, to me mature does not mean old, i class myself as middle aged, i may still feel young but i dont look it and im not young lol
At the end of the day its all about how you feel, its upto other to decide if they like you and noones for everyone after all smile

I'm 41 and just getting into my prime. I'm not old or mature and I don't intend to be old till way into my 60's!
My in laws were old at 45! Yet my Dad is just getting older and he is 66.
It doesn't have much to do with the number really, it is all about the attitude.

I now what you mean about outlook. I've met (socially etc) incredibly 'old' 35 year olds and really 'young' 55 year-olds. That's why it's so important to chat, phone or even meet for coffee before getting into the sexy stuff.
And it really isn't much to do with the physical side of age. OK a hunky/trim/whatever bod is nice on anyone, but the personality and attitude is sooooo vital to a good meet. Maybe in a club situation the balance is a bit different, but a meet-meet shows people's attitudes very clearly.

Why is it important to classify mature? Mature is a state of mind not an age group.
Shame peeps do put limits on - I'm 41 and to be honest am in my sexual prime - their loss not mine :giggle:

I'm 43, (just), and am considered a "mature student". However my ex used to (and still does) refer to me as forty something going on fourteen. I look in the mirror and this big old boy looks back, but I'm still always getting into no end of scrapes, (and even the odd scrap).
So does mature mean of a certain age or is it more about attitude and behaviour. I do need to know this because I am still not sure if I am or not.

I wasn't looking forward to hitting 40 ( all them years ago redface

) but I have to say I've had the best time! Turning 40 was the best age for me - I'm not open, more relaxed with myself, more adventurous and I've had more fun than in my 20s and 30s put together :twisted:
