Accommodation in Sheffield

A few weeks ago we decided to have our first visit to a club and picked La Chambre in Sheffield, which was a very good choice, and now we are planning to another visit.
Because we have to travel from Bonnie Dundee we made a effort the last time and I hired a car and we booked a reasonable hotel which all in all cost a few quid. sad

We are hoping to make a regular thing of visiting La Chambre and we need to cut costs as I am a poor student and my partner only works part time. Using the Megabus and a local train we can get to Sheffield and back for only Â£20 so now we are looking for reasonable accommodation, perhaps a B&B.
Does anyone know of or can anyone recommend somewhere to stay in the local area bearing in mind we will have to rely on local transport.

you will probably not find any local b& b's in Attercliffe, they tend to be more on the other side of the city in student land. you might be as well off in a traveloge or similar...there are a couple of these types of hotel on attercliffe road

Hi malky63,
When we go (used to go) to Le C, we stayed at the Premier Lodge just off junction 34.
I found it reasonable and adequete, but we couldn't get a nite cap on return at 3 ish.
I'm almost sure there's a Travel Inn about half way between the M1 and the club too.

There's a Travel Inn a couple of hundred yards from the Premier Lodge, very near La Chambre
