Adding pic to message

I have tried to add a pic to my messages but people are telling me it isnt there. I click on the box that says add a pic, Should I be doing something else.

Yes - when the drop down menu appears with all your pics on click on the one you want twice until you see it transfer into the message body as a URL link.
Preview it and you should see it before it sends if you've done it right mate.
