Plz can anyone help us!! we are hoping/prying to book a SWINGERS CRUISE abroad/Europe.
We have tried So hard and was wondering if ANYONE can tell us how to go about it--as the companies that do the swingers cruises are ALL situated in the USA!! and therefore NOT covered by ABTA or IATA.
We would be MOST grateful if anyone can help us book/arrange travel plans etc regarding the above mentioned cruise.

Many holidays booked these days by agents are not the standard package. ie the flights are booked seperately to the accomodation and very often the accommodation provider is in another country. Many agents here are covered by ABTA. However fairly recently ABTA have been forced to make it known that they do not cover your money if your agent goes bust so the cover they provide is limited and not worth the paper it's written on anymore. (Thats if it ever was IMO)
Find an agent who is covered by an independantly run trust. That way ANYTHING you book thru them will be covered by the trust be it flights or accom and your money is safe.
Having said that it is v. unlikely you will be able to book the actual swinging cruise thru an agent as they tend to be privately run. So the best idea is book the flights thru an agent and the cruise direct thru the company or person that owns the cruise, but it almost certainly won't be licensed under any travel license. Pay by credit card for it and that will give you a fair bit of cover.
