You might try a trade or business club. they usually meet on a regular basis and help each other with finding work.
I do domestuc carpentry and advertise locally. But most of my work is by word of mouth.
But I do like oral.
well i i dont much on bussiness cause i failed it in skool, but looks like u got a computer why dont u try making a few cards or leaflets 100 or so if u got the time post them through doors , even on in newsagents on their Ad boards,
Good luck mate
to get commercial work you will generally need to tender for it ( price against others)
which generally drives the margins down
and payment periodsup ! 45-60 days is not un common
do you have the commercial backing and trade terms with your suppliers to deal with this
sorry mate but electrical industry is quite heavily regulated.....you will need your part P for domestic work and you will need NICEIC registration for commercial and industrial work. No real short cuts as with electrical installations you can't afford mistakes. If as I guess not registered with the above, I would suggest you sub contract yourself out to the other companies that are. At moment the contractors are shouting out for local sub contractors to work for them.
Then maybe save some money and get the NICEIC registration.
Good luck
