I am going to the scottish munch on 26th March. Chris has told me that there is quite a lot of private parties going on afterwards and that most seasoned swingers will use these as an excuse to swing. My question is is it essetial to swing at these parties or can you go along and not? Chris said i should ask lucy who is organising munch but i thought i would put it here to see wat people thought.

After munch parties usually have nothing to do with the munch itself, although most like to carry the party on, either by just gathering for more drinks with friends or to catch up with folk youve not seen for a while. If someone plays they play, but it's like that most of the time anyway!

I am not aware of any parties afterwards Carol,
but as little gem says, maybe some get together for catch ups ,drinks ect, there are no expectations !!

trust me, if you want to continue the night in a club or at a party afterwards, noone will expect anything or read anything into you being there. course you'll have the option, but if you just wanna spend the rest of the night chatting in the jacuzzi, all good! a lot will go on after for the social thing as much as anything else.

I had a reminder recently (in another sphere) that when it comes to private parties, it's always best to ask the organiser what kind of do they're planning, and so forth. Different houses usually have different house-rules in all kinds of ways - and that's before you throw swinging into the mix.

Rules are usuallly dead simple ones like.... no play uin the kitchen/ the kids rooms/ bathroom, smoking in the garden only......... etc. As long as you know before you arrive it's no hassle. Anyway, everyone looks out for the newbies anyway!
I wouldn't be put off trying it. If it's not your thing keep trying until you find something that suits!

Hi guys. Can't speak for the aftermunch parties because I haven't been to one yet. But the munches themselves are very non pressured events - and WELL worth going to!!
Everyone has different after munch experiences. I have driven home after both the munches I have been to. No-one has ever made me feel like that was the "wrong" thing to do.
Main thing is - enjoy yourselves! This site has some great "members" - and I just love meeting up with them.
