age updating on profiles?

Do profile ages get automatically updated on this site?
I ask because I just had a memo from a guy who said he was 53.....
his profile said he was 40....
and his ad says he was 37!
Other guys have said that the age on the profile is not correct too, so I assume the age doesn't update automatically, is that correct?

I just checked back, details changed again, he is now 45 on his profile and 40 in his ad!
(still told me 53 in his memo though!)

That definitely sounds like the behaviour of Redwine Lover.
He has been a former mentor to me, although I refuse to lie about my age.

so, does it automaticaly update itself each year, or you stay the same age as the year you join, unless you change it yourself?
If so, it is not a very helpful feature!

thanks for that, it is all a bit confusing, other guys have told me they put their age younger as most couples want an under 40 as a single male, seems it isn't only women who lie about their age!

I just recently turned 40 and our profile changed on the same day to reflect that so I think the guy is telling porkies lol
