Wonder why so many oldies, like myself at 71, seem to become suddenly undesirable!
I have been rejuvenated by the ministrations of ladiesI pursued through other social sites, and found my abilities are unimpared and style impressive, but here, no on wants to know about an older swinger who can. Pete rolleyes

If it's sudden then you've had 70 years of desirability - good on yer!
Nobody's ever turned me down on age grounds.
They find some other excuse. wink

Just folks preferences Pete, but there's folk out there that prefer older men, just gotta work at it. In the meantime there are other benefits to being older , you get to paint your lounge for 10% less on a Wednesday.

Still casting about and fishing in the pond, nice ladies on other social sites want me, and oblige, but then the hooks come out and I am gone. Not wanting another 25 yrs of solitude, and know I have much to offer, considering. Oh well, as Granda used to Ce la Gare or summat.

I have been the subject to ageism. I just dropped a PM to a lass, just for a chat. She replied saying I was to old.

I don't see it as ageism... I'm sure if you were to meet said lass in a crowd on a social basis she'd be happy to chatter to you. You've dropped her a PM on a swinging site which presumably is with a view to more than chat.
It's her preference not to want to have sex with someone of your age. That's allowed. I don't see it as discrimination at all, it's a choice.
My age preference is fairly limited and I can be as fussy as I like. I may not find anyone but again that's my choice or indeed my loss. wink

calling it ageism seems a bit extreme to me.
and to be quite blunt and direct..I wonder if you at 30 or even at 40 would have considered a partner of 70...
