I'm looking for a nice way to say that I have my period that both women and men will understand. So far I've come up with:
'got the painters in'
'up on bricks'
'on the blob'
'rag week'
'jam week'
'women's trouble'
None of these are very attractive phrases, I just wondered if anyone out there knew of any others.
It's that time of the month!
:giggle:
Simple.
Liverpool/Man Utd/Arsenal playing at home dunno
Dave_Notts
'Bad weathers in me nethers'
'Blood flood'
'My cunt's in a right mess' bolt
aunt Flos visiting
flying the japanese flag
TOTM
psycho bitch from hell week
Just snarle at whom ever. Thats what I get. :scared:
Woman's week is a phrase I always used.
I don't get them anymore :smug:
The rivers running red
Painting the town red
Bitch week
I've got re'belly
Not sure if I like any of those.
Others include:
'rag week'
'the curse'
'aunt flo' ( confused )
'crimson tide' - which isn't too bad I suppose.
Not much positivity here though. Considering it's natural, reassures you you're not pregnant, and means you are still (relatively) youthful. I, myself am finding myself praying for a hysterectomy or the menopause, whichever I have the time for first. rolleyes
ahh you wanted something positive that reassured you that you weren't pregnant and that you weren't old enough to be menopausal ??
what about:- 'Wahey !! I am thrilled because I am menstruating at the moment. You may think it is negative but for me it means I am young enough to become pregnant yet old enough to appreciate the benefits of menstruating.' Long winded perhaps but gets the point across. cool

Must be true about us D'arbyshire folk being lazy with language as round these parts we just say "I'm On" lol

what about 'whoop, whoop I am on my period'
now THAT covers the positivity element and is also concise.

Situation 1: At a swinging club (just to socialise) and a rather attractive lady or gentleman asks if you fancy getting a private room?
Situation 2: You've arranged a first-time meet and your period begins unexpectedly that day?
Need I go on?
How about
'Your ok this week, last week I could've stabbed you and got away with it!'
Some particular favourties of mine are;
Up on blocks and,
The no bathing flags flying this week.
Menstruation: it's what panties were made for!
