Hiya folks,
Was having a conversation with a male friend, when he asked if I’d ever had sex with another woman.
anyway I replied no and said I considered myself straight and went on to say that once in a mmff situation whilst playing with another couple, my hubby was using a toy on the other female.
However he had to visit the gents so I took over with the toy, basically just holding it if honest, no other contact between us that night or any time after when we met again.
To my amazement the male friend said I’m slightly bi then, because I held a toy and that’s a lesbian sex act
He’s bi and went on to compare me holding a toy, with him wanking another guy and giving another guy oral sex, which if the case was that I gave the other female oral sex I might agree.
I tried in vain to explain all I done was hold a toy, but he then when on to say that if a male had used a toy on another male that would be gay sex too?
Well my definition of gay sex between 2 males doesn’t happen with just a toy, I’d call that foreplay lol
I know its only labels but does holding a sex toy while your hubby visits the loo make you bi or a lesbian, after all it’s a lesbian act and he has 3 friends who agree! so i must be
So folks put me out my misery does a sex toy and no other contact define your sexuality? Am I really a closet lesbian?

Just holding a toy doesn't make you gay. Ignore it they're winding you up, and besides does it matter? As long as no one forces you to do anything you don't want to, it's just another label innit?
cool

Maybe a water closet lesbian?????
damn, I think I am straight
no really... mmmm I class myself as a lesbian.. after much soul searching and thinking... I can't pretend anymore that I am bi.. liking to suck and fuck men doesn't make me bi.. a particular sex act doesn't make me bi. I don't really like men. They are just warm and moveable sex toys to me. I have no real connection with them apart from a guttural lust for cock and sexual satisfaction. Once I am sated then I have no further interest. (I do like them, I just don't have any real need for them in my life- sorry guys I know that is harsh and I know that loads of men are now going to be unwilling to have sex with me dunno)
Now, women... mmmmm oh yes.... that lasts and lasts and lasts..
I would no more say that you were a lesbian than I am heterosexual. You are certainly not bi either. You were being helpful. (I am yet to hear that that is a sexuality)
A person's sexuality is defined by themselves... not by some random prat and a pub consensus.

Do you know, there's a witticism to be had about helping oneself. I just cannot for the life of me articulate it right now.

Well technically it was one word and an abbreviation :P
Peanut: life-long member of Pedants Anonymous.
I just wish that was the only thing relating to me that used the words "long" and "member"
Actually, I would've thought that by you holding a phallic object beside a woman would have meant the total opposite??!!!.... phallic, penis.. belongs to a man generally lol
Take no notice, to be bi/lesbian has to come from inside you, your mind as well as your nether regions, simply holding a toy doesn't make you any of those two.
I was going to say what splendid said in her ending paragraph, but not so elequently, so I agree with her, sexuality is about the way you feel and what turns you on, not about being involved in something sexual that you feel disconnected from.
I've been touched by women during rampent moments with men. I am focussing on the men and enjoying the touch. If you had a blind fold on and didn't know who was touching you but thought it was a man and later discovered it was a woman, you wouldn't have enjoyed it any less or be any less straight.

I somehow doubt that ;-)
After reading Splendid's splendid post I suddenly have this urge to become a lesbian... ahem redface
oh and "...men [] are just warm and moveable sex toys to me" classic lol

Well, by just "holding" it in place rolleyes to save it falling out, no, I wouldn't say you are a closet lesbian.
Now if you hadn't been such a wimp and actually gave her a good shaggin with it, I'd say that was maybe a mildly bisexual act.
But you are certainly not a lesbian.
Unless there is some more you aint telling us? lol

Yes i know i'm not a closet lesbian, was just adding some homour to the thread biggrin
However i don't think it matters how the sex toy was used? surely a bisexual act is between 2 bisexual people dunno
Or we could then say that 2 lesbians using a strap-on are commiting a hetrosexual act. a sex toy is a sex toy regardless of whos using it or maybe thats just my way of thinking.
Thanks for the input eveyone :D

I certainly aint committing a heterosexual act when I use our strap-on with wor lass. We are both lesbians and we are having a different sexual experience... we are lesbians because we say we are. The sexual acts that we partake in are no definition of our sexuality. By your suggestion... what sexuality is kissing, masturbation, penetration with fingers/dildos/cock??

If you said you were a "one horned, two eyed sparkling Ribena monster" in that tone, I'd say "anything you say, maam!"
:scared:
Late at night, all alone, I take myself in hand. redface My God I am Bi surprisedops: I touched a man thing.
No stop thinking about it, it does not make you Bi. Any way who cares? lol

I was not suggesting anything, it was a comparison, if you read my post I agree with what your saying, that sex toys are exactly that, sex toys :dunno: and have no bearing on your sexuality, but that’s my way of thinking others might disagree.
As long as its fun who cares
