..thank you James02...my point exactly. I had assumed because there were so many 'fake' ads that they wern't moderated at all..I was not criticising the moderation team. I've now been made aware they are moderated which illustrates how siginificant the problem must be...not that moderation is ineffective.....phew..got it out at last!

And the moral is, don't leap to conclusions without evidence.
And, speaking of evidence, there are thousands of people reading the ads, only a few of whom are moderators, so quite often lots of people will have seen a dodgy ad long before a mod sees it. The thing to do then is hit the Report button. This will bring the matter to the attention of the mods. Making a post about it will simply result in a mod asking you to report it, and generally evoking sighs of "Here we go again" from the rest of the community.
The report facility is there for you to get such matters resolved quickly by the mods, who are volunteers, unpaid, largely unthanked, and probably not telepathic.

James - that is an IMPOSSIBLE task! Give them credit!! They do a damn fine job!!! And there is the facility to report a bogus ad. You're ALWAYS going to get the fakes. Surely most people realise that. To be honest - I think there are less on this site than I have seen anywhere else - and I put that down to the damn fine way this site is moderated.
And no - I am not trying to suck up the mods. It is just common sense.

I've been responding ( and placing) ads and am very careful to fully comply with the posters requirements. Many of the posters say they are looking for something, then if you get a reply suddenly the goal posts have moved..for example, I'm a black guy and many of the posters say thats what rocks thierboat (fair enough)..so I send the pic..along with a detailed description of myself and what I enjoy and am looking for...invariably no reply, even a courtesy 'no thanks' is ever received...just bad bloody manners in my humble opinion!
I've also noticed a proliferation of out & out 'fake' posts..accompanied by a pic of some bollock naked super model clipped from the www and usually accompanied by some salacious line about how much outrageous shagging the poster enjoys seeing his wife engaged in, or funnier still thanking some fictitious conquest(s) for the gangbang the previous Sunday, you know the sort of thing...'thanks to John, Paul, George & Ringo for the fuck outside the chippy'..come off it!!
