AM I BEING A LAZY SOD ????

Confession time!!!!!!! sad

I have been sat here on a Sunday afternoon, chatting in the chatroom and not doing much else, whilst my Sister is doing a huge pile of ironing for me up at her house!! redface

Does this mean I am a lazy sod or do I have my priorities right????
Anyone out there have any thoughts on the matter?

Can't see a problem with it myself, if your sister is happy to do your ironing then let her. I wish someone would come and do our housework while we're on the pc or generally doing fun things. biggrin

My Sister has a strange liking for ironing, I myself hate doing it, hence the huge pile!!!!

I hate it myself with a passion, thats why John does all mine......hes well trained biggrin

So it's a damp, muggy, hot Sunday afternoon, I get up at 8 to be at work for 9, spend 6 hours dodging silly questions from sillier customers, get home and log on to the safe haven of SH, only to find threads like this! Nice to know somebody gets to chill out on a Sunday!

I agree ironing is a waste of precious time -
give everything a good shake when it comes out the washer...
More time to shop then :P
Today I have been mostly shopping - AGAIN!!!!!

I only ever iron the kids school uniforms.
What a complete waste of time ironing is. My ex-husband, now he's on his own, irons everything. Even socks. And sheets. And tea-towels.

Sounds to me like a case of right priorities. Now does she have time to do my Ironing as well, as I can't stand that bit. I don't mind the washing, it's just turn the knob to 4, but that Ironing lark seems well complicated, have you seen the number of different settings on the Iron.

all i can say is - thank god for my tumble dryer!! biggrin

only have a couple of things that cant go in it, and theyre dryclean - so dont have to iron them either!! lol

I like ironing, gives me time to zone out and stop thinking, but not so much that I do anything dangerous.
I have thought about dabbling in ironing other people's stuff for a price, but only if there's good stuff on TV smile
