have mentioned you a few times now ginge, you are becoming a regular which is nice to see, you must try not to be so defensive though, i get the piss ripped out of me something chronic on here at times, but most of the time i set people up to do it!!

please dont get all hung up on getting your posts acknowledged etc - unless you're generally a good 'writer' and get your ideas/ thoughts/ oppinons over to others clearly, I think many people here sit back a while and kinda 'register' new posters.....as in, wait to get to know your post style......we wonder.....are they witty, sarcastic, funny, rude, oppinionated, just picking a fight, need help or advice.......basically, are they genuine??
Time and time again - on forums generally- you will hear the 'do not respond in haste' warning - its far too easy to misread or take someone/ something out of context and next thing ya know all hell breaks loose!
If you feel you have something to contribute to a thread, take a deep breath, type, and post! The more you post (and the quality of your posts in terms of content or humour) the more you'll become part of the furniture - honest!
Yes some people are 'cagey', yes some people get flamed, have their threads hijacked - and yes it annoyed the crap outta me at first too - but, it works both ways and the more you're around, the more you'll see that what 'noobs' often see as 'baiting' or 'flaming' is often just banter that gets taken the wrong way.
ooooo i'm rambling - as you can see, I am not one of those who are particularly good at getting my point accross! rolleyes

but fuck it eh? pull up ya chair, fingers on keyboard...... and away ya go ! :D

Thanks Lissa,Darkfire too,I think I'm getting into it ok as I go along,it does get easier and you start to feel more of a part of things and you start to get the gist of others personalities and humour.
