Apologies if this has been posted before but I saw an advert for this place in the UK's only lesbian lifestyle mag  and I've never heard of it before.
It calls itself 'The Academy of Sex and Relationships' and as its open till midnight and has an 'Aphrodisiac Lounge' where you can have a cocktail and discuss your sex life with other people who have attended, a boutique, exhibitions etc. I just wonder who its really aimed at and what purpose its meant to serve
Has anyone been that can shed some light as to whether or not its the load of pap it appears to be??
No idea about Amora, never heard of it but just wanted to wave to you both. wave :giggle: kiss
I may be going there next weekend lavabubble, if I do, I'll let you know - as for who it's aimed at and the purpose, well I'm going in the hope that it might be interesting, entertaining or I might learn something wink

Go to the eye again Lavabubble
It's probably fascinating for people who like to know how things work and I did come away thinking I'd learnt a couple of biological facts I didn't know....but overall, it felt like it was more about the mechanics of sex rather than the intricacies of sexuality!
It was nicely presented, likely to prompt some oohs and ahhs from people who haven't been terribly adventurous before but generally, for anyone with even a mild streak of kink in them, it won't thrill you!
Nice toyshop, pricey but eye catching!
I have been, it was a decent way to spend half an hour, but pricey (cans of coke £2 each!)
I personally wouldnt go again, as there isnt enough to challenge or change any existing thoughts, or give me any ideas either
Thanks Serendipity for letting me know - I'll save my hard earned cash and do something more exciting with it methinks!! Sounds like it would be a waste of time for the broad minded as you say, I'd have a better education in the market at Pride in Manchester at the end of this month lol
And Essex, anywhere that charges £2 for a can of pop that isn't a 4 star hotel can keep it - and even the hotel can keep it - I'd be off to the local offy first
