Hi there everyone,
were a couple about to head over to Amsterdam. We have been there before a couple of years ago and really enjoyed ourselves, it was a really horny and intresting experience watching the live sex shows for the first time! Over the past while we have been tempted by swinging just to try something that most wouldnt dream of and we have read what has been posted here about the swinging clubs in Amsterdam and were very tempted to try it out!
It seems like an easier way to explore this than advertising for something specific as we are not totaly sure yet what our limits are as regards other people entering our relationship. What we have seen posted here is goto this club or that club, mostly club Paradise which will be close to where we are staying or one other club outside Amsterdam. We would love to hear from anyone who knows, just what goes on in club paradise, is it full of single men with only a few ladies, are you expected to partisipate or is it ok to watch and just indulge yourself with your partner or is that going to be seen as rudesmile As a pair of novices our biggest hurdle is that we dont know what to expect and dont know wether we would be entering an atmosphere that would leave us feeling pressured or awkward, so any tips or guidelines would be good. Also any ideas of other places in central Amsterdam would be excellent.
Its always good to hear what others think and have experienced so if you lot can help it would be appreciated, were headed out on sunday the 6th of Feb so time is short!!
I haven't been to a club yet but the general consensus is that you don't have to do anything you don't want to do. Take your cues from others, usually 'regulars' will start the action off first and if they are doing it then chances are it's ok. If anything happens you don't want to get involved in, don't get involved, simple as that.

Have only been once. It was a couples only night. It's like many of the clubs here, though I'd say it was very upmarket. Plus the Dutch are more open about sexuality and I think it reflects in the attitude in the club. We were welcomed at the door as if we were minor VIPs, given a tour of the main areas and told to come back if we had any questions. My partner did, and was made to feel very comfortable (don't let Dutch 'formality' put you off - they are very friendly given the chance). :)
You could stay at the bar either dressed or just wearing underwear or towels. Smart (or extra smart) casual is nice. Sexy undies for later. As with English clubs, there's no pressure to participate. One upstairs room (semi-dark) was for couples mostly doing own thing with their own partner, but in a way that you could admire or appreciate others in a non-intrusive way, either close enough to touch on an adjacent leather-finish mattress or slightly further away. ("C'mon, Chris", my partner said, "Put on a performance for me", so we did.)
The pool area is like something out of a film set, twin curved staircases descending to it from each side. (View from the balcony is quite romantic).
Our only criticism is that it wasn't very busy the night we went, at least till later on, but we didn't stay till the end. My partner felt it was a bit tame compared to some clubs, but we had a great time.
Thanks for the Info Chris,
that has made it a good deal clearer what to expect and put our minds at rest as wellsmile Unfortunatly the club is only open on the first day that we are in amsterdam so if we go it will be before we have soaked up the local atmosphere but we will see if can make it! lol

Amsterdam clubs - what to expect?

Is it too soon to say 'sharing the costs?'

We have been to Fun4two and Paradise. Although Fun4two is a nicer club, we liked the more friendly atmosphere of Paradise. We are going back again in April - can't wait! I love Amsterdam. Has anyone been to the Same Place? It's a bar full of weird and wonderful characters. Very laid back.
