Annoying Newbie asking for some advise

Sorry to be an annoying newbie but we could do with some advise...
1. we have uploaded a pic of the two of us, does this automatically put us in the photo adds or do we have to do it ourselves? apparently the pics take 24hrs to uploaded
2. what is the best way to find bi females on this site, i.e via emailing direct or waiting for them to contact you?
3. How do you tell whether the people are genuine, as we have had some bad experiences on other sites. (men that pretend to be woman)
4. No offence to single males, but is there anyway to stop them contacting us asking to have sex with us.... as we are just looking for single bi females?
we would really appreciate your replies and we really did mean no offence to the single males, its just not for us....yet!

Hello and :welcome: to SH - once again I see you have a few views but no replies so here goes...
Adverts are totally seperate - if you go to the right hand side of the page you will see the "My Adverts" link - click that and you will be taken to the 'Ad Management' section where you can create your advert, it's pretty simple to follow.
Regarding the issue of single men if you go to tha same place as before (right column) you can click the "My Settings" link where at the bottom you can choose to exclude certain people from contacting you directly. This only applies to Personal Messages (PMs) sent to you - it won't stop people in chat etc from trying to contact you.
Now to the Bi-Female scenario... well I'm not the best person to ask here. I guess just take time to get to know people in the forum - I'm a newbie(ish) and I've had lots of help from some kind folk. People will get to see what you are about and socials are always a good place to mingle.
As for knowing if people are genuine, I always ask for an early cam or phone chat so everyone can see that all are who they say they are!
There are lots of regulars on here who would be more than happy to answer any questions - my advice would be you get out of Swinging Heaven what you put in.

I'd suggest reading this thread:

A lot of single bisexual and bicurious females have replied in there with some very on the button information that you might want to think about.

Until you get a gut feeling it's all wrong or it goes wrong... then there is no sure fire way. The person might have been ok in one situation but not in another. If you're honest and say what you'd like from the beginning then problems may be of a minimum. Asking for a female to female chat in the early stages can cut down on this as can meeting up in a social environment for a drink.

Each to their own with the single male thing, however I've met and chatted with a lot of very decent blokes here on a social only basis... but then thats a personal preference and one you're entitled to.

oh! i've not seen that before? didn't realise you could do that?
david, tracy, you can also block individuals who send unwanted messages by username if you go to My Mailbox > Ignored, which is a bit less sweeping than the block all males?
as for who's genuine, there's no easy way round it, other than to chat to 'em as much as poss? i think the mods keep a sharp look out for the likes of males pretending to be fems, but no way to really define who's genuine, or what genuine even means half the time? ;)
oh, and ads. AFAIK the pics on your ads have to be moderated once you upload them, so your ad will take a few hours to go up?

i suppose your right. i suppose its just as hard for couples to convince bi females etc that them, themselves are genuine..... it looks as if this is going to be much harder than first thought rolleyes

There must be some genuine people out there somewhere........ we have had 2 experiences, but no luck from any swinging site as yet, they were both when we went out to two different friends birthdays in a club called ''Heaven' in London.

Nah, suppose it's no harder than finding anyone else genuine. Personally though, my partner and I have sepparate accounts and so by blocking all single males you might be blocking someone's partner. Not a good idea if the bifem you end up liking is one in a relationship with permission to play alone. Just a wee thought that crept into my head there.

davidntracy, it's probably easier to find someone right this minute in a club, if that works for you? all i can tell you is that there are shedloads of very genuine people here, but it usually takes time and effort, so fingers crossed for you.
question / suggestion for admin . . . .
if you use My Settings to block all males, or whatever, is there any way to unblock certain individual people by user name, leaving the rest blocked, or is it one out, all out? can see a use for it if it's not too techie to code? dunno

I think it's possible to unblock individual accounts by adding them to the friends list thing

Same here Tracy and David, cant really give any advice better than what you have already been given above. Although I would say that even if you dont meet the people you want straight away, it is still a 'dammie' good place to be and Im sure you will have loads of fun. wink

I'll have you know that many barells, chairs, tables, even the occasional Coyote Ugly styleeeee bars, do actually wobble - and it's theirwobble that travel up my legs and makes it look as though I'mwobbling.
