Well now . . . . . . . . things have moved on a pace, and some things have changed a little.
Oh boy - Havethey changed :shock:
Folowing my drunken proposal to HLB at the last Wiggin Munch, and her drunken acceptance, we've talked more about it since sobering up.
I still asked her.
She still said yes.
She asked me.
I said yes.
This sort of puts a new light on the thoughts we had about the "civil ceremony" thing we talked about previously.
Clearly, as we will be getting married in the conventional “vanilla†way with friends and “real†families; we can hardly do anything sort of official like a civil ceremony, or similar.
The “proper†vanilla wedding won’t be taking place immediately, but we still want to celebrate our coming together with you lot – all of you; the friends we’ve both made here, so instead, we have decided to have a SHweddin - as, and followed by a munch.
You all know how I feel about this place and the people in it.
We want you to be part of our happiness and we want you to celebrate the SHweddin with us.
We can’t do this without your support and involvement. But – please – show that in LMU here - not in this thread.
Some details will appear in the LMU forum shortly. Some we’ll keep as a surprise

I’ve added this post to the existing thread because I selfishly want as many of you as possible to see it, but didn’t want to start a “new†thread on the same subject.
The post is for info only.
Arrangements/invites etc will be made/put in LMU in a completely new thread

I’m going to say this here, in the very real hope that we can leave it to die in this thread, and therefore won’t have to get into it in the proper LMU thread. – Yep - There’s a hint and request there.
Changes are afoot here, there, and everywhere.

We fully intend to arrange this as a Swinging Heaven Munch. It’s just the reason for it, and the first hour or so that will be different to a normal munch.
Whatever happens here, or on any other site – we intend for this to go ahead and as many of you as possible to attend.
I’m trying to be diplomatic and maybe even a little PC here.
If things go completely tits up, my SH registered email address really is – if you click the msn button below, it will give you another contact hint in the profile page that opens, as will the button. Do with that info, what you will :wink:
Please, read, inwardly digest – then leave the politics out of it ????
