I really wish I hadn't fallen down the stairs ...... been sat with an ice pack on my back because it hurts now .. (I might not have been so lucky yin-yang).

If you had landed on it, you would have been really in the shit. Paralysis is a symptom. I think you have badly brused it internally, and it just shows how much inbuilt dampers/springs we have inside our bodies? i can remember falling down 14 stairs, and geting more damage off the artex on the bloody walls! Like I said, it will ache like shit, but you may well look like John Wayne for a few days...know what I mean?

Having tried to stand up and walk to bed I know exactly what you mean .... fortunately my arse is well padded and I think it is just bruised thankfully (still blummin hurts though), the pain now I think is as much having "set" so the quicker I move around the better I guess.
Thank god I'm walking like John Wayne now and not yesterday otherwise I might have struggled to convince people that I never had any experiences on Sat :shock:

It is something women dont like, but if you had been less amply padded you could well have been laid butt up in the hospital, and at this time of night, it aint a good place to be...trust me on that one!

Absolutely no offence taken ... even less of a place to be with two young children, a husband somewhere up the M18 and no patience (excuse the pun) LOL ... have had a slight wander and it has eased slightly but still tender ... will be stiff in the morning though :shock: :cry:

I am sorry to hear of you missfortune however, and perhaps it was you I should have said take- care to?? But if you are still in pain today, I would suggest a good soak in a salt-water bath. Nothing better for bring out a bruise, and simply call if you need a hand getting in and out :!:
