I can do guitar

Hello...Hello anybody there ??
MrFC can do the Sax lol
Well on my to do list is learning to play a guitar ..................................................
I used to play guitar before I discovered SH. Now I'm an ex-axeman - although occasionally it comes back to me - but you know what they say 'If you don't use it - lose it!'
Besides there's nothing worse than five guitarist turning up to jam on their own. So I'll go on the reserve list.
Where's the drummer and bass player for a start. Iguess we'll not be short of vocalists judging by the karaoke reports from the munch.

What - your a Rap artist - Wow!!
A long long time ago, when I was young and lived in the frozen northlands (well, edinburgh actually), I played bass in a punk/metal/grindcore band called Leprous Allsorts. Of course, I use the term "played" in the loosest possible sense. I'd never actually played bass before the band was formed, but got the gig as it was my idea to form the band, and bass was something that wasn't too difficult to play, after failing miserably at playing the drums in the previous incarnation(s) of the band.
In the 15 months or so that the band was together though, I did actually get *almost* competent towards the end (after narrowly avoiding getting kicked out after the second practice session when somehow or other I managed to improve my playing skills tenfold in the space of two weeks), but we split up just as I was getting good.
We had to split up in the end after recieveing numerous death threats from people we'd offended over the course of our existance. Me buggering off to Uni didn't really help much either, but it was a good laugh at the time. I do keep meaning to get the old Aria Pro II out of the cupboard and have a play about again, but I have a horrible feeling the strings might have rusted away to nothing by now confused
death metal sounds cool .....i used to play in a death metal band years ago ,,,,,,,when all of oxford street was full of rockers 199? ,i was allways out my head,,,,,surprised i actually learnt to play guitar.....i can sing rock n deathmetall...........so 5 guitars ,1 sax,etc etc where getting there lol ........WE NEED DRUMS THO ,,,,,any females out there with a double BAss drum ??????pls pm lol
i can play amazeing grace on the piano.........
im sure i can rework amazing grace to sound like a cool death metal tune.........we could change the name to disgracing grace
<------- Im a Drummer!!!
What sort of music were you thinking of?
I got a beautiful 12 string, Reese is a bassist (got a gorgeous fretless, here) & keyboard player. We got a djembe and a water drum and a bodrahn. Oh, and before I got ill I was a 'cellist. (Jaqueline DuPre taught me a lesson - I gave it up, she didn't and the MS won :-))
I used to play guitar in a modestly bad way. I now have a younger relation who plays the same item brilliantly well so I keep mine well out of sight.
Sometimes I open up one of the cases, tune up and have a go, but ultimately it's frustrating. However they are both nicely appreciating in value so nothing lost.
I'll not volunteer though, you couldn't cope
