Tell us about another web Forum (or Fora) youâ€™ve enjoyed or still participate in.
My all time great Forum addiction was the
This place has everything â€“ lots apart from discussion about religion, secularism and arguments for or against God (in context of general discussion, or more specifically science, evolution, philosophy and biblical error or inerrancy).
It has a great version of our CafÃ© (The Lounge â€“ viewable by members only); a great Media & Popular Culture sub-Forum which discusses movies, TV, CDs, books, sport etc; a hilarious Humour sub-Forum; and loads of really exceptional members (very US dominated, but with UK and worldwide members). Also good Political sub-Forum.
Discussions outside of religion in the site's other sub-Fora range from favourite beers, dealing with friends, shaving(!), holidays, to sexual relations/adventures (far more explicit than in The CafÃ© !!!). I'm sure they've even covered swinging in Lounge discussions.
At least browse the siteâ€™s Media & Popular Culture and Humour sub-Fora â€“ I guarantee youâ€™ll like something there.
But I loved this site for the whole range of what it covered and reluctantly retired, too addicted, after 360 posts!!

Well my favourite few are
which is my car club & we have loads of meetings & track days..also a superb forum which regularly ends up quite heated as thier is still some men out there that think women should neither drive/modify or have any knowledge of cars so I can really wind them up wink

Also one I have been on for years & made an awful lot of friends is ..ahem redface

I met a man in there that it ended up quite serious with but he lived in Wales so distance was a problem especially as he did not drive....Still visit him often though....Mmmm :twisted:

I had a brief but interesting fling with ITV F1's forum, but I didn't post enough to make it out of the F3 category sad

. On a more sexy front, I used to be addicted to Excite Personals - not a forum but a meet up board, mainly occuppied by pervs and escorts, but oh, I've had some good times from there... then they went and made it a pay site mad

Blue - I used to live on the eXcite chatroom & got invited by one of the women to stay for a weekend in Suffolk so did no more than packed the Mini up & drove there...turned out she was an absolute slapper that wanted me there to get a group of men round for the weekend for some sort of orgy...nowt wrong with that u may think but I would like to have been informed first & not travelled miles on the false pretence of a nice weekend spent shopping & taking her little girl out for the day !!!
So after that I left the forum/chatroom & stayed away for quite a while.. :x

Jaine - yeah some of the women on Excite were decidely dodgy confused

. I met some cool people through it though. In fact I met the guy I've been clubbing with for the last three years on Excite, so I guess you could say there's a future in this internet game for single geezers after all lol

Like Fred, I love the Time Team site: I went to peek when they were down the road at High Ercall.
I like river Cottage too: old Hugh 'Fearlessly Eatitall' has me in stitches. However, his recipes are for real and, as a chap that likes his grub harvested from the fields, ponds and rivers of this fair County, I appreciate his commitment to all things 'game'.
Also like 'Scrapheap Challenge' site, Radio 2 website, Farmers Weekly, BBC History and Wildlife sites...BBC Food and cooking ...oh, I could spend ages the web is fantastic.
However, I only partake in one 'Forum'-which may lead to me being thrown out of here by laughing Mods...
Yep, I'm a 'TOG', one of Terry's Old Geezers...and I am NOT telling anybody by 'non de plume'...

I seem to be addickted to the disc. board on Its such an insight into the minds of Americans, everything from sex to politics , religion, even drugs which can be disscused openly and honestly, without the usual taboos!
The members there have helped me on a number of occassions when I have had a problem with my compputer. There are a lot of really open minded people hang out there and also one or two biggots, but still..................... Ive made some great net friends and also one or two that I have met and enjoyed in real life!!
