I would love to have a 'proper' coffee or tea right now. I would really like to get back on it, but I really want to stay off it.

Well actually this is about addictions which we don't realise we have. I stopped drinking tea and coffee to avoid my addiction to caffeine. I was having very strong cups of tea and coffee, which I loved, but the effects were finally inhibiting me. So after a month off the caffeine I feel more regularised with my energy levels, and generally calmer.

Nothing better than a strong cuppa tea......mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Thankyou that was a very encouraging report. I don't think I'm over it yet as there must be residual withdrawal symptoms. at work. But for this month I've done okay without the caffeine.
Except I did have some Lucozade and one or two fizzy drinks which contained caffeine. But as long as I know what and where it comes from I should be okay.

Its a little off-topic, but one of my favorite things in the world is to sit chatting to a friend / someone new over fresh coffee, fag in hand, putting the world to rights - its habit, I enjoy it & its also part of the 'package' I buy into in the social scene here - and I'm dreading July  wtf am I gonna do then? no smoking in public places = no more coffee meets unless I review my no house-calls policy or simply stop smoking because someone else says i'm not allowed to (:kick:cry:
