Anyone here use internal condoms?

I'm curious as to how easy they are to use and how they actually feel. 

They seem like a more practical option, as articles suggest inserting them a while before sex so you haven't got that mid-way pause and fumble - I also like the idea of the clear statement having one in already makes when meeting a guy who has said during preliminary conversation that he never has sex without a condom then turns up with no intention of wearing one! 

But I worry about whether it interferes with the before-times - how comfortable is it really to wear whilst you aren't fully 'switched on' to sex? Does it get in the way of foreplay? Is oral still a viable option? I also have a gush-tendency - will I just wash the thing straight out?

They do look a lot like the olden days re-usable condoms so are they as thick and 'numbing' as I imagine those to have been? 

And what is the perspective from the other side? How do they feel to guys? 

What are the experiences of people who have used them?

 Well, I have bought some so once we singles are released into the world again, I'm fully prepared to experiment - for the greater good of everyone who may be curious about them, of course. 

It's stunning how much more expensive they are than their male counterparts...  because of course we have to be fucked by the patriarchy whilst we are fucking the patriarchy!

Ok, my order finally arrived yesterday. I figured I'd see how easy they are to use (for science!) and here's what I note so far -based purely on solo play.

Firstly, the little ring that goes inside is pretty slippery from the spermicide or whatever chemicals they put on them - the instruction "simply pinch into a figure 8" is not so simple when it keeps sliding out from between your fingers and pinging back into a circle again! 

That said, when it's in it's quite comfy in a "bathing in your socks" kind of way!

I actually quite liked the feel of it - and I know it won't be the same for everyone, but the outer ring sat right on my clit so there's that too! 

Obviously nature's lubricant is on the wrong side of the moving parts, so you do need to use lube but that's not really a big deal. Stuff I'd read online referred to them being quite noisy, but I didn't find that - maybe that's the case with a real cock though, I wouldn't know about that yet! It stayed where it was meant to and didn't impede with the whole experience at all. 

I wouldn't say they are really practical for spontaneous sessions - unless you are a person who always carries lube around but I will definitely give them a go with an actual lump of flesh! 

I'd still be interested to know how they feel from a guy's perspective if anyone does have some experience to share...

Hi, Can't offer any meaningful feedback whatsoever. It is only recently that I have even become aware of them (along with menstrual cups) If, as you say, they have been around for quite some time, there has to be good reason why they haven't been more widely adopted.

If the analogy of bathing in your socks is even close, that takes me way back to an opinion among men, that using a condom was like "taking a shower while wearing a raincoat"

I, for one, await the results of your road test.

It's most likely the price that has affected take-up. They were £3 each so could be costly if you are fairly active person!
