Is there anyone in Stockport on the cafe tonight? If so, if you see a very lost looking Satin, can you please direct him in the direction of Manchester
rotflmao
He is crap at direction finding, and when we go out I do the directions and get there in double quick time, but seeing as he's out on his own tonight, he doesn't have a clue  . I just got a text from him to say he was lost in Stockport...... oh well, Manchester is a big place, he'll find it eventually
:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
I shall keep my eye out for him!! wink lol
*goes out to send flare up*
rotflmao :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
He's on his way to Warrington now..... . I don't know how anyone can have such bad spatial skills :silly:
I've even read out directions to him over the phone and he's STILL gone wrong rolleyes
He set off at 7pm and its meant to be a half hour journey :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Where is he? On the M62?
If he turns round and heads back on the same motorway he'll come back through salford on the M602 and almost into the centre itself. I think it's even marked for city centre (possibly Castlefield which is basically the bottom of Deansgate).
He just needs to follow the motorway all the way to the end and not turn off at any of the junctions, especially where the motorway goes to one lane just before the end. wink
Good luck to him 'cos Salfords not the easiest place to get out from.

He'd got to Stockport by going all the way to the end of the M60 I think  - he'd missed the M602 completely rolleyes . I told him to get back Northbound and find the M602. It was all going well til he got into Manchester but then suddenly he got lost and was on his way to Warrington     . he rang again, so I told him to find the M602 again, and I got multimap up and read the road numbers and everything out to him. Anyways, he seems to have missed the bit about staying on the Mancunian way and finding UMIST cos he is now lost on Deansgate  . Oh well, he's not far away from the village I guess :silly: :silly: :silly:
I could have walked there faster, honestly! confused
Sgt get the troops as well, and send them out
Bless his little cotton socks, even i dont get lost in Manchester and I live in Herts lol
Well im sure if he pulls into some layby, someone will give him a hand  or two!!
I'm more worried about him getting back home in time for his party!!
Send out a rescue party??
:P

It's OK, the troops have been launched cool . I'm going to ring him in a min to see if he's there yet.... Jeeez..... actually he's always worse getting home from somewhere that he is going to it, but as long as the troops keep looking he should be found in time for the party.
Oooooh, stop press.... just got a text...... he is THERE!!!!! Only two hours twenty mins since he left the house for a half hour journey..... he isn't a guy at all is he rolleyes
Just the getting home to worry about then rotflmao :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
My granny always used to say, when you were lost, stop, empty all the oil out of the car, run it till the engine seizes, call the AA and get relayed home.

Good plan! cool 8-) 8-)
The car is currently making very alarming noises that will apparently cost £450 to fix  , so maybe the nice men from the AA can sort that out too rotflmao
next time tell him to get the train, lol

No way. You should see him trying to catch a train :eeek: . He'd be in Milton Keynes by now if he'd have caught a train to Manchester!

hes needs deep pockets and a taxi then
Satin isn't the only one blue I had trouble finding my car in Canterbury last night, nice place but a bit of a maze ....left the bloody thing in a car park wandered off into Canterbury up and down some narrow streets looking for a particular pub...found it , enjoyed my evening, but finding my way back to the car turned out to be a nightmare...spent that bloody long walking up and down various streets I didn't recognise...must have taken me nigh on half an hour to find the soddin car park.
...Nope Satin isnt the only one that has a problem with finding his way around.
Canterbury get some better signage please.

What time does his train get in, and I'll go and pick him up. I safely look after him until Saturday when I will return him in working order. lol
