I know some people get off on moaning, but this thread is about identifying glitches and getting them fixed, which is pretty much what were doing, so if you want to moan or gloat, go start a new thread or post in the steam room, but if you do start a new thread make sure its the first as there's no need for more than one dislike thread about the changes, its better that there all on the same place so that the griefers and harbingers of doom can get off on them.
People who are posting here have genuine concerns.
To call us "griefers and harbingers of doom " and to say we "get off" on this is totally disrespectful.
Cherry, Im not sticking up for St3v3 as he is big enough to do it for himself, but his post does clearly say that SOME PEOPLE.
The majority of the posts in this thread are highlighting areas which Admin need to sort out and give some really good feedback on what needs to be done but others are just a general moan for the sake of it
i understand that admin may FEEL this however its not good management or bussiness practice to voice this,or is that just a moan by admin for the sake of it lol
if this has stressed out admin then if a manual had been produced it may have aliviated some of their stress , not just the members.
when it comes to people being exposed they will naturally panic and grasp out at straws for help.
so what if we want to moan, i think weve had some good cause to.
i know repeated queries for help to the same problem might have been witnessed, but when you'r frightened you cant spend 10mins reading all the posts you just want a quick answer.

Yes, its on the list, it was useful, it got missed when the profile pages were re-designed unfortunately, but it will come back, I'd love to fix everything as its spotted, but it's one thing at a time.

Fem, I do know where you are coming from and it people didnt raise the issues then Admin would not be aware of them and would not be able to sort them out and I can say though that they are working very hard to get things done.
As you say, people do panic, I know I have done exactly the same in the past and yes reading through what is now 20 pages worth of posts is not always going to be the first thing some one wants to do when they are worried that their photos are viewable. This is why no one is bothered about repeat questions. Better asking twice than not at all.

I deleted those pictures as both of them are against the current AUP and there was absolutely no reason to 'bend' those rules purely because of the current Site changes. The response you received was an automated you took exception to this, that's unfortunate. We can't second guess the reasons behind why anybody does anything so what makes it 'pretty obvious' doesn't come into it.
If you had a concern and thought you had the answer to it, did it not occur to ask any of the Mods or Admin if what you were planning would help or was necessary?
Crystal balls were withdrawn from the last round of cuts, so we now have to go with what we see, rather than consult the stars.
I hope that answers some of your queries. I'm sure the answers to the others have possibly been answered elsewhere.

I cant get the My Search to bring any profiles up no matter what selections i put in :-/

Jon, I just had a play and it worked for me. I didn't put a distance in though as that isn't on profiles at the moment. If you did, maybe that corrupted your search?

Just tried it leaving the distance blank... still doesnt work.
My selections were, ORDER-last logged in, TYPE-female, MEDIA-pictures, LOOKING FOR- bi male, straight male, gay male, rest left as defaulted.
I'm using Win2000 running IE
Just tried again... if you select "last logged in" then you get no list...
I tend to use this option the most because theres no point in PM'ing anyone who hasnt logged in for 432 days, and "newest member" often has profiles that are "newer" but when you look at them they havnt logged in since creating the profile.

There's also a spurious " " being shown just above the quickie text box. Might be legit but just looks odd!

:? As soon as I put ages in - worked a treat. Ooops in Edit - I also ticked an activity. So I take it you have to use most of these boxes to refine your search? Sex God

Just tried a search and put ages in and some basic details (ie very sexy single male) and it worked for me. Im using IE if that helps.

Warming the Bed
On looking at pics in main gallery they no longer have tabs at the top so you can go to the persons profile or pics etc.

Yes ! I used to have a private gallery which I would occasionally allow people to have access to. Every photo that was in thatgallery is missing. I believe there were about 8 photo's in it.

Minxy - you can set up a group for example: London Swingers. You can invite friends or other members (its not working for some peeps - but will be), make them public or private, you have your own forum, can upload pics (be aware you can see these without logging in), videos, you can moderate your own group etc. In Edit: forgot to say that the groups you are a member of show up in your profile - top rhs list.
Just think if you had a good group going and want to hold a social - use the events. I like the events system - makes it so easy for the organiser.
My profile text has disappeared from the profile that members see although its in the Profile edit. Also who I'm looking for has disappeared from the Profile. Has that happened to anyone else? In the Profile edit, I can't see a list, eg Couple, Single Female, Gay male etc that we used to use to indicate what we were looking for.
When I try to access my Photos they don't appear although 2 are listed.
I've also got these funny twirling circle things spinning 'round like little radar screens on some pages. Anyone know what they are?

Oddly enough Mal, I was more concerned with protecting myself and my private pictures than waiting for a mod to come online to consult with - and as Admin seemed a tad busy, I took action for MY benefit.
I'm rather surprised that someone has deemed my avatar pic as an AUP breaker after me having it on here for 4 years. Surely having your avatar showing as your main pic is fine? it always has been as long as I've been here.
I'll refer to admin regarding the rest.

That of course is your right.
However please be aware that pictures for avatars are not governed by the same rules for pictures in your profile, which is why for the last four years it has been, and still is, allowable, as an avatar. The rules haven't changed on avatar pics or profile pics in that time.
