My questions to the mods, (so no one else respond) is: why do you mods studiously ignore mobile users? I have asked and asked but get no recognition or comfort as to why this site now ostracises mobile users?

I don't know what you expect the mods to do. We have no access to the technical side of the site. Do you really think mobile users are being ostracised, or do you think it might be that you're the only one having a problem? Have you opened a support ticket?
By the way, I sent this from my iPod Touch so not all mobile devices seem to be having problems.

i got fed up of the constant probs here and put a support ticket in regarding the error msgs
they replied saying the problem was fixed
however today the same problem is back and much worse and also a new one, wen i log in it dont tell me if i hav new mail but wen i look in mail box i hav some ! then wen i try to read it i cant ... well not till iv tried over and over again !!
so glad i dont pay to be here, id b very peed off if i did !!!
