Are you a girly girl? or a tomboy...

For years I was a bit of a tomboy, my other half didn't like me to dress up in anything girly, or wear make up, do my nails etc. I am now discovering my girly side, and getting more confidence by not hiding behind a grade two shaved head any more! I am enjoying pampering myself and looking good for me, not anyone else for once.
What about you? are you a girly girl or a tomboy... biggrin

OOOPS got to edit.... I meant my late other half.. the current one likes me just as I am!

Im a kinda inbetweeny - I do't do perfume, flowers, jewellery, makeup, all that stuff - but I don't do tree climbing, football, and stuff like that.
I'm just me.

Me personally, I'm in between, I like to be smart but don't really do the girlie fluffy thing. Paint my nails wear makeup and love to mess on with my hair but that's about it. Don't bother with jewellery that much other than nice bracelets.
And I'm most defo not one of these women who have to be made up just to go shopping! cringeworthy! :lol:

It depends on my mood and what the day has in store for me. Most of the time I wear comfy clothes and apart from moisturising I don't wear make up. If I am meeting someone for a lunch time drink or meal I'll wear light make up and a skirt and if I'm going out in the evening I'll get all my girly things out and go the whole hog and love it as I love dressing up.
I have a real dislike for pink though, stems back from being a real tomboy as a child and hating all things girly. I used to love the new vw beatle until I saw barbie doll had one in pink lol and I don't like the flower holder as it's sooooo girly!!!!
I will never be truely girly I guess, but I do love to look all woman!

It depends ....
I'm generally a jeans and trainers kinda gal, not scared to get my hands dirty and when I was younger I did climb trees etc.
I don't wear make up day to day however, I do like to wear it when I go out and get all dressed up, with high heels and dresses.

I always wear suit and make up (tho not heavy) for work, so like to chill in my sweats and t-shirt for lounging. When I do go out I like to dress up, take extra care on my make up, and wear lovely shoes!!
I won't go out the house without washing my hair but will go out without make up.
Have always liked the "getting ready" part of a night out or a date!
Have had many girly nights where a bunch of friends get together, get your pj's on,then do facials, pedicures etc whilst drinking copious amounts of wine!! One friend has learnt to do indian head massage!
So to sum up- I love girly but there are times when it is ok not to want to be bothered!!!
