askin u bunch about a munch

we have been on the site a while now, made a few pals and spoken to loads of interesting (and a few very wierd) people bolt

we have been invited to our first munch and are very excited at the prospect of a social meet up with like-minded adults who we can discuss our interests in all things sexual with redface

......
we were wondering what to expect and what usually transpires at these crazy gatherings??
we are looking forward to meeting all the people we have chatted with and see what you all look like in the (ahem) flesh......
PS if there is a place on the site which answers our questions not only will we feel stupid but we expect a few slaps on the bottom from those of you attending smackbottom

You can expect to :
1) Meet wild and wacky people with similar interests to your own
2) Drink copious amounts of alcohol
3) Enjoy yourself
4) Make lots of new friends (take a pen and piece of paper in case you need to jot someones email down)

Just as a matter of interest - which munch are you going to? They are (ahem) social events.

Muches are very sedate affairs. Normally the evening kicks off with some quiet contemplation, followed by biscuits. A few people may feel like leaving at this point as it is too heady for them.
Mods and Ops get to sit at the top table.
If you decide to stay, occasionally we'll discuss hobbies or the latest train timetable changes on the east coast mainline. A cordial of your choice is served at
Some light pop music is played between 9pm and for those hedonists who like to dance. This is not compulsory.
Towards 10pm most people are thinking of heading home as it is nearly bed-time, so it is wise to start your goodnights and fond farewells to those you haven't had a chance to chat with.
The bar is empty.
It's only a rough guide, occasionally there wont be light pop music, but it'll give you an idea of what to expect.... lol

no loud music, no singing, no drinking, no talking, no dancing, no kissing , no snogging....... :shock:

I am not aware of, what you call "light pop music" being played. We normally gather around the piano and listen to a recital , this decadant "pop music" is the very thing we dont want at our munches, its niether entertaining or fitting for a gathering of swinging heaven friends.
I for one will be complaining to Mark to have it stopped NOW !! Shame on you ! ! !

Hang on a minute you've forgotten the philosophy breakout class in one of the syndicate rooms between and 10pm - anyone who has imbibed alcohol by that stage is barred. If I remember rightly the last one was standing room only!!

great chaps i feel i am at last amongst my own,
never again will i feel excluded as the social outcast i was at school, where even the most slightly built and whippet like of children riddiculed me for my lack of sporting prowess and the built up shoe i wore which kept me from playing with the others, and indulging in the socialising i once heard about.....
the piano sounds nice can rach play the skin flute she is simply sublime......
i myself prefer the organ although it is a lonely instrument it brings me such joy lol

I did NOT get a choice of cordial - I was told 'it's Ribena or nothing' AND I never got any biscuits. Come on, who didn't order enough biscuits? :x

you never got any biscuits Bev, cos we left the baking up to Blue, who kinda fucked 14 dozen batman cookies that we were banking on and the two packets of Custard Creams she bought as a relacement, didn't last past the first dozen cups of tea.

i have a rare wheat germ allergy, i hope this is going to be taken into consideration when the biscuits are being distributed...

I think you'll find the actual wording was: a selection of cordials available ....

I am really looking forward to the Amsterdam Munch where I believe we will be having a programme of lectures on windmill technology, tulip growing and clog making.
I do hope that in typical Dutch fashion we will be getting tickets for a free cup of coffee and a slice of cake.

i ate a delicious dutch cake once, it made me feel all peculiar and my body came all a quiver, i wonder if it contained the same ingridients as dino's :confused:
