Dear Johnno; The feeling that you are turning into you father is perfectly normal. Many males of you age go through this phase and you may find that you will end up dancing like your father at weddings etc. as well. What you must question however is how your sexual life develops. It is perfectly possible that your father is/was a swinger but you have yet to reconcile this fact with your own lifestyle - i.e. you are simply following in your father's footsteps. You should attempt to find a group of people who can help you work through these troubled times - I would suggest in this modern age a web site where you can ask these questions, get answers and possibly meet other like minded people (ideally where there are photos available so you do not waste your time). I am led to believe that Aunty Polo Lady is currently running an advice column on this site which might help. If all else fails, I can recommend as a friendly, discrete ear to bounce your ideas off. re: the dancing thing.... is it a gradual loss of co-ordination... or do one day you just start dancing like your strings have been cut.... I am already depressed enough as it is... i watch top of the pops not having a clue who half the acts are.... find myself muttering "i remember when music was music!!!" and the older i get the less bpm's i like in my music... give it another 5 yrs it will offically be "Radio 2, Classic FM and Easy listening"....... "gutted" of Tyneside...........

:x :x Now you've done it my old man has for a long time been ridiculed by myself, members of my family and even his friends for his choice in chunky cardigans. So imagine my displeasure when he turned up at my work place today to give me a helping hand complete with a gift for me  Yep thats right my mother had bought him a new cardigan (by far the chunkiest one yet) but as it was to big for him he rather proudly announced that he'd decided to give it to me as a gift  Gee thanks dad I say whilst eyeing the behemoth of knitwear I'll try it on when I get home, Oh no he replied I thought you could put it on today to work in as it's cold :? All f'n day i've had to wear this monster of a cardigan whilst he helped me work and kept admiring my new piece of knitwear. :x At what age do you stop being young and become your dad? If I let him have his way i'd be an excact replica already.
No offence taken as i've read that thread twice and laughed both times. But i'd just like to add one last thing. For Sale 1 Ridiculously Chunky Cardigan or failing that free to anyone with a bonfire planned

You wait, this cardi is only the beginning!!! Now you've been seen wearing one, people will be knitting you em left right and centre. You'll end up with a cardigan for every festive season going!!! :rotflmao: Then once you've had em a year, the next batch of presents will be leather patches to sew on the elbows!!! :lol2: Be warned tho - don't go out in the rain wearing it, cos it'll end up stretched down to your knees and weighing a ton  Hmmmm another surreal thought there :? Sheep have thin legs? So how come when it's raining, they don't end up unable to move with their legs sunk into the field cos their coats are so heavy???
