I am getting increasingly frustrated at the adult nature of some forum avatars - particularly photos of ladies. Considering they're supposed to be non-adult in nature, some are sailing a little close to the wind for my liking. I often peruse the forums during the day, when my kids are about, and have to close my window frequently. I'm not a prude, and also enjoy viewing the gallery at appropriate times. Some of the worst offenders are those that have said in the past that they change their avatars according to whether kids are on school holiday and consequently peering over shoulders. I appreciate that tits and bums are not strictly on the banned list but I would prefer that they were to be honest. Is it just me?

Nah disagree, its an adult swinging site I wouldent suggest reading it with the kids about. I do but thats my choice and I too have to move the page down or minimize the window from time to time. I thought the rule on cock shots in avatars was just to prevent 100 avatars all looking the same

I agree with all the posters who have said this is an adult site. Besides, the pictures have been approved by admin so if they don't have an issue with it....

I'm sorry for going completely off subject here, but we have just been onto the site without logging on to see what you can see.
Every forum post, some gallery pics, all the photo ads ...... Am I the only one who finds this a little disturbing?? I thought you had to at least join (not necessarily a paying member) to view these things.
I'm sure I've seen names of hotels, etc where people are wanting to meet in the lets meet up section.
I've been on here for over a year and didnt know this so how many others dont? Would people be so open about their movements if they knew that absolutely anyone can see? Not to mention the people who have their faces as avatars and profile pics which can be seen in the photo and quickie ads!

Nope... that's why I took my pics off my profile to be honest. I don't like the idea that they were put straight into the gallery without being given a choice. The gallery rotates and is viewable to non-members. I was happy with my pics being in my profile because you have to be a member to see those.
And I've had my arse as my avatar pretty much since I got here. It's an adult site and whilst I wouldn't appreciate genitals in avatars, I think we can afford to have naughty pics that are in the realms of tasteful. :mrgreen:

Non members being able to view things does not particularly bother me. I have kept any pictures that could identify us private so I dont really care who sees the ones that dont identify us. Random person who signed up for a free account or random person surfing by, makes little difference to me I know neither of them and they dont know who we are.
In case anyone asks we currently have no pictures up as I went to sleep drunk and left the PC on the site when "others" were in the house. One used the PC next morning we found a new tab open. So just in case they clocked the site and noted anything have removed all trace of any firm evidence. Yeh they could guess its us but they wouldent be able to prove it

Funlovers...Yes, the public reading of this site means that anyone could take anything you type/post/publish/upload and put it anywhere... if it weren't for copyright laws of course, but some would rather not have to 'out' themselves in public. Down to personal choice. With the location thing... I was under the impression that anything in the Lets Meet Up should not have a location on it and should be reported to Admin or a Moderator for editing. I've seen a few people slip up with locations of venues for things in the past and it's been a ball ache and a half for the organiser if it's not removed quickly.
There is a 'Privacy Is Paramount' point of view which is usually expressed towards Admin in lengthy threads every time they introduce a new function. Annonmninnintittitiyiyyy (privacy ;) ) is important to some and should be respected. Thankfully, Admin seem to be listening to the members a bit more and introducing new features set to automatic 'off' rather than having to hunt through it all and actively turn things off yourself, which can be complicated!
There should be options for setting in your profile page/settings page thingiemebob. All else fails, select private and make them beg! ;)

I love not having to look at genitals every time I log into the forums and much prefer that these are not allowed as avatars. As Gem ang others have mentioned, there are some sites that just allow anything to be used and it can a bit too much in your face trying to reply to a serious post when you got 9 inches of rock hard, seriously sticky, man (ok, make it five inches) and its even worse if it is the female equivalent 
I like the nice suggestive avatars, the ones which make me want to go and have a look at the profile, the ones which tempt me in (and I am saying no more on that) :twisted:

The photo ads are visible to anyone but again, adult photos on any adverts are not visible to non-members or to anyone who is not a full member of the site. I cant remember if all photos are actually hidden or if it is just the adult ones but will go and perve, I mean check, and come back with an answer :wink:

If you go into photo ads are not a full member of the site, or you are not logged into your profile, you can see photos which are the 'Profile' photo (which should always be non-adult) and you can see any on the advert itself which are categorised as non-adlut.Hope that helps and now off to check a few more pics our :twisted: (research purposes, honest)
