avin probs going into chat

hi could someone tell me why im havin probs going into chat rooms cos as soon as i put my name and password in it closes st8 away its very annoying when this happens so we canrt even sort anything out i would be very grateful if someone could HELPPPPPPP sad

ive tried this sticky!.. no joy tho!...
It keeps coming up as "breakpoint" reached and just logs off!.. its great!

It sounds like you're having Java problems. I'd recommend that you both install mIRC, a link to download it can be found on the chatroom entry page. It takes a bit of getting used to but is far more stable than using the Java chat window that you automatically get when you click the link to the chatroom on the main site.
To connect to the chatroom using mIRC:
Set the IRC client to: Starchat
Set the server to: Random Starchat server
Enter your user name and password
Join the channel #swingingheaven
That should (hopefully) get you into the chatroom without the hassles.
