bank holidays and being single

Ok moan time lol
why is a bank holiday more boring than a normal day living on your own i can't fatham it out
all week on my own some weekends ok fine no problem
but a bank holiday OMG im bored out of my mind ..So with there being one at the end of the month any ideas how not to be as bored it would be good to hear how you spend them if your single wink

Well for me i should have done some work but got up late and could not be bothered, i just chilled I have a busy week next week.
As for the next one I have not planned that far in advance I might have a bbq here or else where. Then again I might have kids so who knows but I feel for you single life is new to me.

Debz you should have come here and we could have had a girlie shopping day (while steveg did the garden), followed by a curry and a bottle or two kiss

I had no plans but got involved in an impromptu mmmmmff. You could have brightened up being home alone, we were on cam and bloody hell was it was hot and horny lol

Its fekin hard. You dont realise how when your with some one how easy you can occupy each other with plans, chores and fun stuff. When your alone its a bugger. Especially when you turn round and find while you werent looking all your friends are settled and have there diary chocka. Sure, your welcome but its their itenary and you feel like a spare one.
I learnt my lesson at Easter. SH has is key. And using a diary. Ive filled this weekend well and am chuffed to have a busy diary for the rest of May and June. But it is hard work. My attitude now is to put myslef out there and to go for it. In the past I would of took the easy route and give in to false fatigue and stayed in or let my shyness get the better of me, but not now.

Hate bank hols too. Everyone 'coupled' up and doing their own thing. The worst thing is when they start feeling sorry for me and decide to organise me rolleyes
I tend to hibernate at bank hols so this one was the same as the rest, doing stuff around the house that I normally put off.

I can empathise-having just spent my first bank holiday weekend "manless" for as long as I can remember. It did my fecking head in!

Hmmm, I don't know dunno ... seems kinda odd to me to be that bored when we don't get anything like enough bank holidays confused: I know the feeling about being single when everyone else seems to be coupled up but key is to have other interests in your life that keep you busy and doing things with friends etc cool
