seen peeps banned from here for doing nothing, slipped up doing a addy and were banned for it

We have the support tickets for stuff like this, if you spot illegal activities they are dealt with, we do take it seriously, so if you have an issue report it.
And people are not banned for doing nothing, people get banned, logs are checked and I've never ever seen a person banned for doing nothing.

It seems like you always have to be careful what you do,what you say,you may have a sense of humour that some folk dont understand and then only too quick to complain about seem right.

have no doubt u take it seriously but a joke was said and took to heart by a minority of people in 1 room that was full so 2 people out of 70 dont like a joke and a member who is genuine and has met several cpls is banned for life as a consequence !!! dosent make sense

my support ticket has just gone in... i hope with enuff support that the member concerned gets a reprieve on a life ban as this was, in my opinion, too harsh
Obviously I don't know the full story but from what I can tell when other people get bans - it's generally not the first time they've been brought to the attention of the Ops/Admin.
I'm quite confident that there is a procedure in place of so many strikes and you're out, unless it's a serious offence.
This person you are supporting may have a history of pissing people off and between them, the Ops will have discussed him and come to a mutually agreeable conclusion - in this case, the ban.
However, not knowing any of this as fact about the person in question, if there has been a miscarriage of justice then I hope he gets the reprieve you are fighting for and an apology wouldn't go amiss either.

Starting a petition to get someone unbanned will not work. We work on facts, not hearsay. As has been previously said, put in a support ticket, but if your response is a bit limited, it will be down to client confidentiality. In other words, we won't tell you why someone else is banned, that's between Admin and the individual. Much like you wouldn't want us to make public some of the reasons 'you' have been banned in the past.
