There is another online "confirm your details" scam going about. This is an email that appears to be from Barclays but does not have the Barclays logo.
It asks for passcodes, memorable information and so on, basically anything that would enable them to access your account.
Obviously, DO NOT do anything with this.
The email also contains a virus so do not open it in tehg first place unless yoiu are sure your virus scanner is up to date.
Mods, lock it if you want, it's just an announcement.

Things like this are constantly circulating, I get several a day purporting to be from ebay or some bank. The advise is always the same, don't answer it, if you are tempted to answer call the number on the back of your credit/debit card and ask their advice. The same is true when someone calls you from a bank or credit card company. Ask for their extension and call the number on the back of your card BEFORE answering any of their security questions.
Oh, and keep your antivirus up to date anyway don't wait for someone else to prompt you, AVG is free (to non-business users) and updates automatically. No excuses.
