What is the difference?
Coming from a woman I'm sure this question is silly but I honestly don't know the difference.....is there one?
I'm looking for a bit of "uplift" and proper cleavage....Wonderbra's and the like do nothing for me so was looking into the corset type thing but there are different things to choose from and I don't know which to consider....any help on defining the three would be good! (Tried google already)

Basques are figure hugging with support and uplift.
Corsets hug your body into an hourglass shape.
Bustiers sit around yor breast and can give support and lift.

:laughabove: what she said...
although corsets dont just hug you, the bring you in round the waist about 4 inches! if only i had the money, they are usually over £100 for an ok one and £200 for a good one
Bustiers sit around yor breast and can give support and lift.
Basque:

Kinda like a half corset, without the waspie-waist effect.
Kinda like a basque, without straps and suspenders.
Usually fastens with zip or, more commonly hooks & eyes at the back. Looks good if you have no belly. No boobie-liftage, as is just like the top of a strapless evening dress

what she said tho i would add a bustier can also come with suspenders ect attatched just the main diff is no "bones" in it or any form of suport except what the matierial offers

hiya, another option for you is the un-bra. They look a little like chicken fillets and you stick them to your boobs. There is no straps so can be worn with anything. The clasp at the front pulls your boobs together and lifts them at the same time. Depending how you place them depends on the positioning.
They really do work (mine had their first outing at the notts munch) and were very well received wink lol

Thank you all for the info....
I now know what I'm going to get - will have to save the pennies though as they're all pretty expensive for something decent!
