Basques for the fuller figure

Hi everyone, does anyone know where my wife could try on a basque or corset in the northwest? she's tried all the local shops in Lancaster Morecambe without success and she is reluctant on spending Â£50 or more on the 'net for something that might not fit
and no, your house/bedroom, is not what she as in mind!

Bugger ! I was going to suggest my room :doh:
Why doesn't she order the Simply Be ( or similar ) catalogue? Delivered to her home and free returns if not suitable? Or google your local area for something closer.
Pics of any successful purchases must be posted here of course innocent

Most internet sites offer a 'full sizing' option. If you don't tell fibs it fits.. lol

Not sure if allowed on here so Pm us and we can give you a couple of trusted sites we know that give good service..

Are you talking about a Corset? or a Basque?
If it's not to far for you, pop along to the Birmingham Bizzare Bazaar, Birminghams monthly fetish fair. There's a good choice of corset stalls and all kinds of clothing and any of the sellers will be happy to help you try on.
Hopefully the Mods wont mind me putting a link here because I think it's an extremely useful site and a lot of people will be interested in going.

speaking as a fuller figured women myself i can assur you if your mrs wants something like a basque or corset she most likely will be paying Â£50 + for it, most shops think if your over a size 12 you should wear granny knickers lol

so if you want something out of the norm, ie sexy underwear for larger ladies, you will pay thro the nose for it and most probabily get it off the net i'm afraid sad

could always try ebay :thumbup:

Apart from the B'ham fair, your best bet probably is mail order for off the peg items. If you are looking at made to measure then Â£50 figure is least of your worries, you're probably looking more like Â£200! :shock:

we have bought several items via the net from ebay shops and hav never been disappointed - however if u still dont fancy the commiting to taht kinda shopping might we suggest 'nice'n'naughty' in warrington - a smallish range of fuller figure stuff is available there and they hav changing rooms too

I noticed that whilst we were there custom sized orders were taken, now I must take my new lady friend there (she is a big girl also LOL).

Our bestest friends make beautiful basques and corsets ( including the pink Japanese silk one that Silky is wearing in the avatar picture )- they specialise in fuller figure and Jo has recently made three costumes for a 'Lady Marmalade' theme party for girls ranging from GG to H cup and sizes 18 - 22 . I agree that its so unfair that fuller figured woman have to pay the earth & finding sexy under wear that doesnt look like what your granny would wear. well don't get me started as it drives me crazy.I know i will have to pay & am quiet happy if its sexy & fits well Mmmmmmmmmm ok Â£200 is a bit much sad

unless i find me a rich man who wants to buy me one smile

I would love a basque or corset ok if honest both biggrin

My problem is i am off with returning them as only place have found the odd one or two is the net.I have had to send them back as i am 32f/ff & have only found one to fit my boobs but as i am a lot smaller below my boobs they are baggy & don't fit snuggly.
If anyone can helpppppppppppp please message me.
