Sorry Missy but its the program Big Brother that I don't give a crap about.
We have had 2 out of our 3 children bullied at some point and it is soul destorying!
What I won't watch and couldn't give a crap about is a program channel 4 continue to put out knowing the damage it is causing because it is good ratings.
If no one watched it, the program would be have been pulled as it should have been when the bullying first became apparent and before things escalated.
My original question was how bad would you feel if you were her?
To see yourself as others had seen you .................. a racist and a bully! IMHO she should be ashamed of herself.
I dont give a crap about BB either................... but I do care that a TV programme encouraged such behaviour or didnt try to stop it, at least.

Although I haven't watched all of BB (I have a life), I have watched some of the highlights and would like to make the following points:-
Jade Goody is a foul-mouthed slob of extremely low intelligence, but I heard nothing in her haranguing of Shilpa that was "racist". To refer to Shilpa as "Shilpa Poppadom" would be as offensive to her as somebody calling me "Sarah fish & chips" or Mr Funster "John Lancashire hot-pot". Shilpa Shetty is a cultured, intelligent member of a race that has a strict caste system (no longer legal, but still culturally ingrained) where her family line is at the top of the heap. She handled Jade's "attempt" at bullying with all the dignity and aplomb that her upbringing has taught her.
What worries me the most is the fact that Jermaine Jackson referred to the Goody clan as "white trash" - an insult based only on skin colour, and perception of social position. This was a truly racist slur, yet do we see Tony Blair complaining to the American Congress?? Do we see white people on the streets of London burning effigies of Jermaine Jackson??? No we don't. In this country we have television programmes called "Black Britain" and an entire award ceremony devoted to Music Of Black Origin, but no “white” comparatives. It appears that if a white person makes a disparaging comment to, or about, a person with slightly darker skin than themselves then they are deemed as racist and persecuted by the press (if profitable) and the public. If the opposite happens as in the Jermaine Jackson case, then it appears that it is acceptable. The current political situation in this country doesn’t seem to be that of striving for equality, it seems to be more akin to revenge on our generation for the sins of past generations. Jade spoke to Shilpa in a manner based on her cultural upbringing, and Shilpa replied similarly - and as we saw, the two are vastly different. Jade has as much right to assert herself in her own way as Shilpa did in hers, and the same SHOULD be said for anyone, regardless of their culture or skin-colour. That is equality.
Im bemused by the word 'career', dont you have to have a job? Wtf does she do, and are we not the idiots for tapping into this false celebrity lark?
people can say Bb is rubish Tv and stuff.......but what this whole row shows..is how important it actually is. I think it actually holds a mirror up to us all. what went on in the house, which i feel was bullying, rather than racism, goes on in every work place etc ..
because we are older, people find it difficult to complain about it. The program has now ignited a public debate on important issues. maybe we can all look at ourselves and think alittle more about exactly what we say, and do. I say well done BB...for bringing this into the open.
I see Cleo has taken over from Jade Goody.....well Jo and Danielle seem happy to have a new leader of the coven.
